Fall Leaves and Square Dancing

The kids spent their last day with their dad making and playing in the biggest leaf pile I have ever seen. It was so fun to watch them go in, and struggle a bit to come out.

Tuesday nights are our Square Dancing night. Me, John, Elijah, Zachery, Caleb, Shannon, Hannah, and Joshua are part of the Conneticut Valley Swingers Club. Do you realize we alone have enough people to make a complete square, that is if one of the boys were to dance the girls part. Me and John actually graduated in May to Main Class. As for the kids they are the new beginners this year, and will graduate in May. Al Monty is our instructor, he is excellent with the kids, and we all love him. The kids have been dancing for about 6 weeks now. They are actually picking up on the calls quite quickly. They were invited to attend their first real official square dance on November 14th. The boys are anxious to put on their boots and western shirts for this. And as for the girls, they can't hardly wait to put on their skirts with pettipants, and petticoats underneath. Should be pretty fun....anyone want to babysit the other 7?
