Due to having no car, John took off from work Monday and Tuesday. It was so nice to have him home, and spend time with him. Even though we basically drove around for the 2 days looking for a car. We decided it was best for our family to go with 2 vehicles, seeing that we have a lot of people in our family, a snowy and muddy mountain to climb each year, and 2 kids who are very near to driving. Not to mention a car that is always in need of repair. The extra vehicle will come in handy we are thinking.
Grandpa Cochran happened to be selling his 93 Ford Ranger so him and Grandma Cochran can go on their mission. We couldn't pass up this good deal, nor the whole idea of a 4 wheel drive pickup. Perfect for our hill, and our little farm. We love it!!
Then we ran across a 96 Toyota Rav 4......which was in pretty darn good shape, and a very reasonable price. It's pretty darn cute I think! We have them both licensed and registered now, and next week are inspections. Now we just need to get rid of the old truck, and banged up car.
