We had two love birds--Pip & Squeek, About a month or so ago, we lost Squeek rather suddenly. We have no idea why--although we do have 13 suspects. Squeek was rather a quiet bird. She stayed mainly in her house, coming out only to drink or eat. If you tried to lift the lid of her house, she would try to peck your fingers. Pip is now alone, and is rather happy to say the least. Maybe he was pecked at by Squeek also, who knows?!? He chatters all day long now, and gets very excited when the kids all gather around in the room. Being a love bird and all, we worried about him being lonely. Amazingly enough, he seems content to be alone.
Those boys of mine, let Pip out of his cage and into my house plant!
