Richmond, Virginia

Thanks to many of our ward member friends, me and John were able to escape for a few days for our Anniversary.  I surprised John with a trip to Richmond, VA.  This was a wonderful and much needed break from our daily lives.  Due to our flight being delayed from a crack airplane windshield, we spent the night in the car in Boston.  (Although we did each receive 2 free round trip tickets free!!)  We went to coolest mall, it was a furniture mall, but most things were made of Jelly Beans in it.  There was a water and light show that was amazing, and also an indoor trapeze arena, and an IMAX theathre.  Pretty amazing.  We enjoyed it.

We spent a day at Williamsburg, learning our nation's history.
We took a bus out to Jamestown, and went through the restored village, and replicas of ships.
We enjoyed the village of Pocohantas.
We also went to the original Jamestown settlement, and learned or it's history with Captian John Smith.
We did other things also, but these were our highlights.  We did got the Ripleys Believe it or Not Museum too!
