Chemistry Mid-Term Exam
I have to post this.....it could be history one day!! I just got home from my Chemistry class where we learned about precipitate composition, and how to use dimensional analysis to convert the weight of a molecular compound into its weight of each molecule in Moles. Kind of interesting I suppose, it seems to make sense....I guess.
Anyhow, we got our 5 page Mid-term exam results back from last week. Now remember that last week, was a confusing and busy week with gathering information for our attorney, talking to counselors, and also a court hearing. To say the least, I didn't hardly get any studying done for my mid-term. My instructor told me I could make it up at a later date, due to the circumstances. But I figured with 13 kids, when would I ever find the time to do that. So I took it last Tuesday, and just did my best.
I GOT A 96%!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Posting Again
SURPRISE!!!! We have had people wanting us to post for so many months now, and my Aunt Judy was the one that actually got me to start again. I hope I will be able to keep it up.Since I haven't posted in nearly5 months, I will just start out with a brief update to get everyone caught up on our lives:
* We still currently have 13 kids in our home, for those of you who are wondering.
* John is still working two jobs, and we are still enjoying having him home in the evenings. He constantly has cars to repair, and animals fences to work on. His banjo playing has gone on the back burner here for a while now, as he enjoys too much time playing with all the kids.
* This fall I, Jenny, started back to college. I am taking night classes, and am hoping to get into the nursing program. And the funny thing is, I am actually enjoying Chemistry, and better yet, it is making sense to me........lol. And I am totally looking forward to having a new driver in the family.......this will save me many milk trips to the store.
* Elijah is learning the trumpet now, while still practicing the piano, and accordion. He is thinking of basketball and track here really soon, and is learning to speak French. He will be taking the SAT's soon, and is planning on graduating next year and attending BYU Hawaii for a semester before his mission. Oh, and watch out, he will be getting drivers license next week.
* Zachery has taught himself the guitar over the summer (and is quite good at it!!). He is also thinking of basketball and track soon. He is enjoying being the scout troop leader in his pack. He still has 2 years of high school, but is thinking of BYU Idaho, and his mission. But I shouldn't forget also the fact that he will be taking driver's education real soon here too.
* Caleb is still going through a book a day of course. He enjoys going on bike rides, and going hiking, and I must say FOOD, he can't ever get enough!! He has quite the endurance for not being as muscular as his older brothers. But he definitely has the brains, and enjoys helping the others to figure out their homework.
* Shannon is enjoying all her classes, and making extremely good grades. She loves choir, and has tried out for the lead in the Middle school play "Bye, Bye Birdie" She is looking forward to track in the spring. She enjoys helping me out with all our family activities. She is also in the process of getting her braces off.
* Hannah is a very bright and shy student. She is making all A's in her studies. She is loving her young women activities, and being considered one of the teenagers now. Hannah has taken up learning the Clarinet. And she is looking forward to going to the middle school next year.
* Joshua is working very hard in school, and also getting good grades. He enjoys going on bike rides and hiking with Caleb. They are best of friends. He is moving up in his scouting ranks rather quickly, trying to catch up to the older boys. And he is learning to play the saxophone after school. He is getting quite muscular, and is so proud of that.
* Isaac has turned into a book lover also. He is always reading. He gets good grades in school. He enjoys art at school, and brings home the nicest projects. Isaac is friendly and nice to everyone. He also enjoys the bike rides with the boys. We never have to speak to Isaac about anything, he is always doing the right thing, and never gets into trouble.
* Jacob is becoming a great little reader. He gets good grades, and he tries so hard to understand everything he is taught. He is still a little go-getter in everything he does, and puts all his effort into his activities. He exercises everyday to be able to look like his older brothers. And he always has the cutest sweetest smile on his face.
* Cassidy is a total girl. She always has to put on her lotion, lip gloss, and matching earrings. She also has awesome grades, and is top of her class in reading. She loves to draw, color, and make cards for everyone. She enjoys playing baby dolls with Hannah and Brenna. And she is my favorite helper with the shopping.
* Samuel has picked up on reading this year, and likes to read to the younger kids. He loves school, especially recess. He likes to ride his bike, and play in the leaves. He spends the majority of his time with Cassidy, and playing house with her.
* Nathan is learning his kindergarten essentials very quickly. He loves school, and is sad that it isn't all day long. He likes to play games, and do workbooks. He is a very good helper to me with straightening up the house. He loves to help out with anything he can. He is a very good eater.
* Willem loves kindergarten, and is so proud of himself everyday for not getting counted at school. He has turned into quite the little talker, and has to precisely describe every detail of this 4 hour day. His favorite thing to do is to jump on the trampoline with Brenna, although I believe it is because he doesn't want to be down on the ground with Buddy, our puppy.
* Brenna is my little cling on. She is always hanging on my leg, sitting on my lap, holding my hand, or hugging me. Her favorite time of the day is after we take all the kids to school, and come home, she says "Mommy, let's watch a movie and eat grapes!" She loves to hear stories, and sing songs, play baby dolls, and cuddle in her blanket.
Whew!!! That took longer than I had anticipated. I will post again soon, and will get around to adding new pictures.

Our 18th Anniversary
This was the first reminder of the day that it was our Anniversary. Shannon drew this for us. We didn't do much today, cause we are saving our day for our trip to Richmond, Virginia.
